Photosynthesis
My first work of 2023. This piece was completed on an old, recycled painting of tulips that I found at my local thrift store. The canvas and colors were worn and it's clear this piece hadn't seen the light of day in a while. In the spirit of photosynthesis I wanted to bring it back to life. I craved new light and color over what has been a very wet, and dreary winter, so this piece was a fitting project to do in eager anticipation of the spring. If you look closely you can still see some of the original painting still peak through.
